PPA2 Challenge- She's Expecting!

If you have not been to Stampin Pretty, you need to visit her blog. I love visiting Mary's blog( She has great tips and ideas and for those of you addicted to Stampin'Up...she's a demonstrator. She shipped me the new catalog when it came out and I am still going over it making my wish list. Rambling, sorry...when I was on her site she had a link to a challenge hosted by her and her SU team ( I checked it out and it is a sketch this week. I liked the clean and simple look of it and decided to play. Here is my take on the challenge. It worked out perfect for me because I knew I wanted to make a card for one of Mark's friends at work. What do you think? Feel free to leave a comment, thanks for looking and have a marvelous Monday :)

I decided to add the circle of paper to hide the seam where my ribbon ends meet up. I paper pieced the elephants ear and then drew white dots on the toe nails with my white Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

Materials used:

she's expecting stamp- Kolette Hall for studio g, stazon timber brown ink, imaginisce snag em's- birth announcement (the elephant), buttons were in my stash, ribbon by Offray, pink cs and the lined paper were from my scrap box pp by the Paper Studio, 1 3/4" and 1 1/4" circle punches, cutterpede scallop blade and adhesive.
