Ahh...

I am trying to set up my new blog at wordpress (that was a gift from my brother and his family)and I am getting no where. I was hoping to have it done today and to have the link for you so you could start visiting me there. Since I have been unsuccessful for the last two+ hours I am giving up for now and posting some of my stuff here. Thanks for listening to my frustrations. Here are the two pregnancy cards that I uploaded over there but they will only upload in the full-size. The first one is for my cousin, they are having a girl! The second one is for a co-worker. Not knowing what they are having I went for a fun, gender neutral color scheme. Thanks for looking.

PPA2 Challenge- She's Expecting!

If you have not been to Stampin Pretty, you need to visit her blog. I love visiting Mary's blog(http://www.stampinpretty.com/). She has great tips and ideas and for those of you addicted to Stampin'Up...she's a demonstrator. She shipped me the new catalog when it came out and I am still going over it making my wish list. Rambling, sorry...when I was on her site she had a link to a challenge hosted by her and her SU team (http://www.palspaperarts.com/). I checked it out and it is a sketch this week. I liked the clean and simple look of it and decided to play. Here is my take on the challenge. It worked out perfect for me because I knew I wanted to make a card for one of Mark's friends at work. What do you think? Feel free to leave a comment, thanks for looking and have a marvelous Monday :)

I decided to add the circle of paper to hide the seam where my ribbon ends meet up. I paper pieced the elephants ear and then drew white dots on the toe nails with my white Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
