I just finished making three cards for my sister. She needed a bachelorette card, a bridal shower card and a wedding card all for one of her friends. She told me that the colors were brown and that she was having wildflowers. I picked up the printed paper from American Crafts at Michaels along with the passionate (pink) paper by Bazzill. I love two sided papers for cards like this so you don't have to try and match up colors. I also used white card stock. The first card is for her bachelorette party. The Martini stamp is from Vap! scrap.
The next card is for the shower. The stack
of presents is by katie & co. Both images
were stamped with Stazon Timber brown.

Cards
Here are some cards that I have been working on. This birthday card is for one of my moms relatives that is turning 90! The paper is from basicgrey. Button is from Bag 'O Buttons by the Paper Studio (picked it up at the local HL- Hobby Lobby). Rustic Jute Button Twine is from Papertrey Ink. Birthday wishes stamp- Kolette Hall ($1.00 bin stamp). No source for the cram and orange card stock...probably came from HL though :)
I found out a few weeks ago that my boss is engaged and getting married soon, so here is a card for her. I couldn't resist these fun summertime colors. I got the top note set at Michaels crafts. They are supposed to be table cards for weddings but I saw them and knew they would look great on cards ;). I am continuing to try and use up scraps in my scrap box so I don't know where the striped paper came from. It's covering white cs. The leaves are clear stamps from We R Memory Makers- team. I picked those up at the local scrapbook store. The sentiment is has no info. on it...picked it up at a local stamp store years ago. Ribbon is Offray (grabbed it from Michaels Crafts).
I covered the top part of the brown cs with a two Post-it notes. Then I stamped the the design using a stamp from Martha Stewart's clear pattern stamps. I used ColorBox chalk chestnut roan. The image is Stampabilities cattails and dragonflies. I stamped that in the chestnut roan and then colored it using Sharpies. I tied it with rustic jute twine from Papertrey ink and tied a rustic wood vintage button on it...also from Papertrey ink.

Blue Angels
Wild Water West
Saturday night we went to Wild Water West. Mark's company was having a family outing there. The boys had a fantastic time. We couldn't keep Tanner out of the water and we couldn't get Gaven to go in the water, go figure ;). We started out over by this pirate play area.
That's it for now. We are off to swimming lessons. Hopefully I will have time to share a few pics from the airshow that we watched on Sunday. Have a great Monday!
Tanner just jumped right in. Gaven on the other hand stood by daddy and just watched.
yup, that's Mark and Gaven. Gaven didn't think too much of that!
After here it was on to the wave pool. Tanner loved it. He sat in the waves, letting them smash up against his body and face. Gaven didn't want anything to do with the wave pool :(
Next we went over to the lazy river.
Now we are off to the water slides! Tanner hasn't hit that 48" mark yet so he couldn't go down them by himself. He did have a blast going down them with daddy though!

Gaven went down too, but I didn't have very good close ups. Here is Gaven dipping his feet on the side of another pool while Tanner and Mark swam.
And of course, a picture of big brother leading little brother and little brother happily following him!

Congratulations Abby
My sister-in-law has been studying for the past week. She finally took her 3.5 hour medical exam yesterday morning and passed. We were all so proud of her and knew she could do it. Here is a little study caddy I made for her. I got the idea for this caddy from a template for a different caddy that I got from SCS. Here is a link where you can find the original one http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419606
I knew I needed it to hold a 20 oz. bottle of pop so I made mine using 12x12 card stock.
This is the card that I made for her when she called and said she passed!

Finally, I have a blog.
I am so excited and cannot wait to start uploading cards I have created and other odds and ends to share with you.
